Michelle D. Smith

FOUNDER/OFFICE OF PRESIDENT

Navigating the intricate landscape of incarceration can be overwhelming, yet Michelle, who unexpectedly found herself immersed in it, is steadfastly dedicated to smoothing the path for others. Serving as a pillar of support, a source of encouragement, a beacon of comfort, and a trusted advisor, she endeavors to instill hope into the lives of families grappling with crises. Michelle co-authored the Faith Freedom Life 12 Steps to Inner Healing © and wrote both the facilitator and participant workbooks for its support groups. With nearly three decades of experience in the legal field and certification as a Paralegal by the Ohio State Bar Association, Michelle brings a wealth of expertise to her mission. Her vision extends beyond her professional endeavors; she is driven by a profound desire to foster healing and restoration within families affected by incarceration. Outside the realm of her career, Michelle embraces her role as a proud “Mimi” to three granddaughters and nurtures aspirations of exploring diverse countries and cultures and cherishes beaches, music, and art.

My story:
It began when I got down on my knees and cried out to God from a place of utter despair.
